    I think most people who attempt the marathon are already aware of much of this, but this is a really interesting video from PBS explaining some of the science behind what our bodies go through as we prepare for and run 26.2 miles.

    While lots of us who run long distances may be somewhat aware of all this, it’s great to have laid out here like this! Not to mention a great reminder to fuel ourselves for the task ahead (in training and races).
